Denmark will build an energy island in the North Sea to link the surrounding offshore wind farms and countries in a network. This island will become an epicentre for renewable energy and the development of new green technologies.

Ørsted and ATP will support Denmark in realising this vision by building an energy island which is designed to continuously meet current needs and requirements, and which leaves a minimum footprint in the North Sea, so that we also protect the marine environment.
